Responsibilities
- Commission electrical distribution equipment and related controls, primarily in data center environments.
- Review system designs for compliance with client facility goals.
- Assist with preparing plans and procedures for the commissioning process.
- Conduct commissioning activities from design to occupation phase.
- Attend factory testing of equipment and document procedures and results.
- Conduct functional testing of equipment and measure results using test instrumentation.
- Fully document all field procedures, including results and observations.
Job Requirements
- BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering or 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Mission Critical facility commissioning.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of ASHRAE or BCxA commissioning guidelines preferred.
- Understanding of building management systems and electrical power monitoring systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with limited supervision.
