Responsibilities
- Lead technical reviews for artificial-gravity space habitats.
- Oversee qualification and testing for flight systems.
- Identify risks early in test campaigns and guide teams towards resilient solutions.
- Safeguard technical integrity during design and operational changes.
- Establish and maintain engineering standards and design guides.
- Capture lessons learned to strengthen future engineering practices.
- Build and refine processes for engineering rigor and compliance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in engineering, design ownership, systems integration, or reliability development.
- Experience with design and qualification reviews.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Hands-on experience with hardware design and testing.
- Familiarity with reliability methodologies and human-rated hardware standards.
- Proficiency in scripting and data analysis tools (Python, MATLAB, Excel).
