Responsibilities
- Lead technical reviews and provide guidance during design reviews and risk assessments.
- Oversee qualification and test completeness for flight systems.
- Identify risks early in test campaigns and help teams find resilient solutions.
- Evaluate complex design and operational changes to maintain technical integrity.
- Establish engineering standards, design guides, and review frameworks.
- Track design maturity and compliance across station and vehicle architecture.
- Collaborate across engineering teams to improve reliability and manage flight hardware updates.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in engineering, design ownership, or reliability-focused development.
- Experience conducting design and qualification reviews.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Hands-on experience in hardware design, assembly, integration, or testing.
- Familiarity with reliability methodologies and human-rated hardware standards.
- Proficiency in scripting and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
