Responsibilities
- Own the design and development of thermal control systems and components.
- Iterate on manufacturing processes and development testing in a fast-paced environment.
- Own the project delivery timeline from early design through production, launch, and orbit insertion.
- Perform systems engineering tasks and fluid analyses.
- Lead design reviews with suppliers and customers.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary stakeholders for system integration.
- Ensure designs are manufacturable and reliable.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or similar field by June 2026.
- Ability to work full-time onsite in Long Beach, CA.
- Experience with fluid systems or components.
- 1+ years of academic and/or internship experience in hands-on hardware.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to perform trade studies.
- Experience with rotating machinery and structural analysis methods.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, able to work in a collaborative environment.
