Responsibilities
- Optimize and develop all aspects of the manufacturing process within machining.
- Work with engineering teams to develop processes for new designs.
- Create and manage manufacturing BOMs, work instructions, and specifications.
- Oversee new machines from installation through troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Conduct root cause analyses on manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
- Review drawings for manufacturability.
- Produce reports and manuals to document results and improve development processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in aeronautical, mechanical engineering, or related field.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for interfacing with engineering and manufacturing groups.
- Knowledge of NASA 6030 spec and AS9100D qualification processes.
- Experience with various manufacturing techniques for metals.
- Familiarity with NX and Solidworks software.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
