Responsibilities
- Collaborate with design teams on manufacturability and assembly processes.
- Support new product introduction and develop manufacturing processes for avionics hardware.
- Maintain detailed manufacturing plans and assembly procedures.
- Design and implement tooling for production processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for manufacturing challenges.
- Work with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of avionics components.
- Perform assembly, integration, and testing to ensure compliance with specifications.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in aerospace or avionics.
- Strong understanding of avionics and electronics manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in CAD software for manufacturing documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with testing and troubleshooting avionics systems is desirable.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
