Responsibilities
- Manufacture platform components for cardiac and skeletal tissue assays following SOPs and specifications.
- Assemble electro-mechanical systems and test equipment for tissue stimulation.
- Conduct quality control inspections and maintain outcome logs.
- Generate SOPs, protocols, and batch documents.
- Monitor and manage inventory.
- Create and modify CAD models and technical drawings.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on prototypes and testing designs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or biomedical engineering.
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing lab or bioengineering lab preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD software (SolidWorks).
- Attention to detail and dexterity for assembling precision parts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Creativity and problem-solving skills grounded in engineering fundamentals.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 and/or 9001 compliance.
