Responsibilities
- Design and implement mechanical integration solutions for customer and partner payloads.
- Collaborate with external teams to understand payload requirements and develop custom accommodations.
- Conduct environmental and functional testing of integrated payload systems.
- Develop pre-flight verification and post-flight data validation processes.
- Analyze in-flight performance of integrated payloads for improvements.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless payload integration.
- Interface with suppliers to source mechanical components and integration hardware.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant engineering fields.
- 3-10+ years of experience in mechanical design, testing, and integration.
- Proficiency in CAD software for designing mechanical systems.
- Experience with environmental testing conditions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
- Willingness to travel for collaborative workflows and launches.
