Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical expert for MCAD support across Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Design.
- Align CAD practices between engineering and industrial design to support concept iteration and design changes.
- Support industrial design workflows, including Class-A surfacing and geometry translation.
- Own the full lifecycle of CAD and PLM tools, including evaluation and deployment.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate CAD/PLM with enterprise systems.
- Partner with IT to maintain and optimize CAD and PLM infrastructure.
- Ensure system reliability and security for design data and configuration files.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with MCAD and PLM tools in a hardware environment.
- Deep knowledge of CAD/PLM tools like NX, SolidWorks, and Teamcenter.
- Proven experience supporting Mechanical and Industrial Design teams.
- Strong understanding of configuration management and product data governance.
- Comfortable working at the intersection of engineering, IT, and product development.
- Familiarity with cloud-based PLM and remote collaboration tools is preferred.
- Experience with containerized deployments and cloud infrastructure is a plus.
