Responsibilities
- Build and lead a team of hardware, optics, and sensing engineers.
- Define and drive the long-term sensing technology roadmap.
- Research, evaluate, and select new sensor technologies.
- Lead the integration of sensors into devices and optimize performance.
- Develop algorithms to enhance sensor accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage relationships with sensor vendors.
- Oversee sensor testing and validation plans.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in sensing technologies, preferably in wearable or medical devices.
- Deep understanding of sensor principles and signal processing.
- Strong knowledge of sensor calibration and validation techniques.
- Experience with sensor hardware design and integration.
- Familiarity with low-power design principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
