Responsibilities
- Provide technical support in design, build, integration, and testing of SCS components and systems.
- Perform Root Cause Failure Analyses (RCFA) on test failures and field returns.
- Write test plans, procedures, and reports, owning test closure.
- Analyze test data to identify faults and present results.
- Conduct detailed design and analysis of components and assemblies.
- Design and implement assembly tooling and test fixturing.
- Ensure timely completion of project deliverables, including design and documentation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in design or product development.
- 2+ years of experience with 3D modeling software, preferably Solidworks.
- 2+ years of project management experience with complex products.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards.
- Proven capability of maintaining technical ownership of designs.
- Experience interfacing with vendors and customers for product design input.
