Responsibilities
- Provide technical oversight of product analysis and design from a system perspective.
- Guide the team in product design tool development and validation processes.
- Interface with engineering, operations, and testing teams to analyze and enhance product performance.
- Define required tests and approve test plans, participating in test stand development.
- Oversee and improve CFD and turbomachinery performance modeling.
- Communicate expectations and updates to teams and management regularly.
- Manage multiple programs with a focus on strategy, implementation, and delegation.
Job Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering degree.
- Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience, with 3 years in compressor analysis.
- Understanding of Computational Fluid Dynamics and heat transfer tools.
- Experience as a Functional Manager or Technical Product Manager.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes for precision turbomachinery.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead teams.
- Initiative to explore new technologies and approaches for problem-solving.
