Responsibilities
- Design and implement observability and monitoring infrastructure for sensor data collection.
- Build systems that maintain reliability across diverse hardware and connectivity challenges.
- Define alerting strategies to distinguish between transient anomalies and critical issues.
- Design automated detection and mitigation mechanisms for fleet-scale efficiency.
- Collaborate with teams to define signals and data contracts for sensor observability.
- Develop interfaces for Operations to report issues and for Engineering to diagnose problems.
- Lead cross-team technical discussions and translate reliability needs into technical requirements.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or C++ with experience in production systems.
- Strong skills in Linux and shell scripting for debugging edge devices.
- Proven experience in reliability and infrastructure for production workloads.
- Experience with observability systems including metrics, logging, and alerting.
- Track record of managing complex technical projects across teams.
- Experience with modern observability platforms in hardware-integrated environments.
- Strong automation mindset with experience in reducing manual operational tasks.
