Responsibilities
- Design propellant management subsystems and other propulsion subsystems.
- Review specifications and engineering data to develop mechanical systems.
- Update designs and drawings via engineering change orders.
- Create detailed component and assembly drawings with an understanding of GD&T.
- Generate manufacturing and assembly methods for designs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team throughout the development lifecycle.
- Ensure flight hardware is robust and reliable for space missions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of mechanical design and drafting experience (including internships).
- Experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
- Experience developing a propellant management system.
- Solid understanding and application of GD&T and tolerance stack-ups.
- Ability to obtain a Secret and/or a TS/SCI clearance.
- Preferred experience in aerospace or space technology sectors.
