Responsibilities

  • Perform development activities including design, assembly, testing, and documentation of satellites.
  • Act as a technical reference within a group or solution.
  • Develop and maintain best practices through technical reviews and mentoring.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and validation/verification testing.
  • Contribute to the engineering roadmap process for R&D projects.
  • Participate in team collaborations and design reviews.
  • Drive designs from concept through testing and flight.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
  • Passion for and knowledge of aerospace and space technology.
  • Ability to work full time (40 hours per week) on-site in Irvine, CA for 12 consecutive weeks.
  • Must provide own transportation and housing.
  • Preferred GPA of 3.5 or above.
  • Hands-on experience in designing hardware is a plus.
  • Must meet ITAR requirements for U.S. export controls.
