Responsibilities

  • Support test planning, setup, and execution of system and component-level tests across mechanical, electrical, and environmental disciplines.
  • Assist in writing and maintaining test procedures, ensuring clarity and adherence to engineering requirements.
  • Execute test procedures and record test data, following established safety and quality protocols.
  • Collaborate with design and systems engineers to ensure tests align with verification requirements.
  • Support root cause investigations of anomalies found during testing and assist in documenting findings.
  • Maintain and organize test reports, data packages, and supporting documentation for review and audit.
  • Participate in pre-test reviews, post-test debriefs, and technical meetings to build foundational knowledge.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related technical field.
  • 1–3+ years of academic or industry experience in a testing or validation environment.
  • Basic understanding of test equipment, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of learning test management software and tools.
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to government contracts.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Exposure to environmental testing such as vibration, thermal, or shock testing.
