Responsibilities
- Lead design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical systems for advanced satellites.
- Develop 3D CAD models for spacecraft components and assemblies.
- Create detailed drawings of flight components.
- Support assembly and testing of flight systems.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to validate designs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for design efficiency.
- Oversee end-to-end development of mechanical structures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 12+ years of experience in Space Mechanisms.
- Experience with spacecraft mechanical architecture and design.
- Proficiency in mechanical GD&T and CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks).
- Ability to lead a multidisciplinary engineering team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Passion for the space industry.
