Responsibilities
- Follow complex instructions and diagrams to create or modify drawings.
- Take verbal direction and implement it into sketches and calculations for final work.
- Produce spacecraft piece part drawings, assembly drawings, and technical details for manufacturing.
- Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, electrical, and structural engineers on updates and designs.
- Storyboard assemblies for production.
Job Requirements
- Associate’s degree or 2+ years of experience in aerospace engineering support or equivalent discipline.
- Professional experience in mechanical design.
- Strong understanding of mechanical GD&T.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD Drawings.
- Passion for the space industry.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to maintain or obtain TS//SCI clearance.
