Responsibilities
- Create detailed mechanical designs for Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for spacecraft integration and launch operations.
- Design structural and mechanical interfaces between spacecraft buses and payloads.
- Collaborate with electrical teams to optimize wiring harness layouts.
- Develop test plans and support environmental qualification tests.
- Assist in the design and testing of Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) algorithms.
- Support propulsion subsystem development and performance modeling.
- Engage in teamwork and showcase work through presentations.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an engineering discipline at a four-year accredited university.
- Experience in developing aircraft, spacecraft, or similar systems.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Denver, CO for 12 weeks.
- Must provide own transportation and housing.
- Preferred: Completed Junior/Senior year with a GPA of 3.5 or above.
- Passionate about space security and sustainability.
