Responsibilities
- Solve complex engineering problems through invention and prototyping.
- Generate innovative ideas to enhance the company's intellectual property in endoscopic robotics.
- Design applications using composite technology for robotic devices.
- Develop specifications and test protocols to ensure medical device efficacy and safety.
- Lead assessments and provide solutions for design challenges at both component and system levels.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead technical projects.
- Create and maintain Solidworks CAD models and facilitate technical design reviews.
Job Requirements
- B.S., M.S., or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 12+ years of hands-on engineering experience.
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- History of generating original ideas and contributions to patents.
- Strong understanding of medical device manufacturing and design controls.
- Experience with composite structures and articulating endoscopes.
- Proficient in SolidWorks and project management skills.
