Responsibilities
- Support the engineering team in developing new medical devices and procedures.
- Assist in device testing, including animal labs and R&D bench testing.
- Help with device manufacturing in a clean room environment.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and hands-on prototyping.
- Produce and maintain engineering drawings using SolidWorks.
- Develop and execute test protocols and write technical reports.
- Support day-to-day engineering activities while maintaining compliance with safety standards.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, or similar.
- College level junior, senior, or graduate student.
- Work experience in a professional setting preferred.
- Basic knowledge of scientific procedures; animal lab experience preferred.
- Minimum 1 semester of CAD or engineering drawing class; SolidWorks preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude with multiple materials.
- Basic photography skills; macro and video photography experience a plus.
