Responsibilities
- Perform research and development for new product development and enhancements.
- Conceptualize and create mechanical designs meeting project requirements.
- Conduct engineering calculations and maintain development notes.
- Apply DFM principles and create mechanical drawings for fabrication.
- Create build documentation for system assembly and support assembly technicians.
- Provide project effort and budget estimations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements
- Experience in SolidWorks, PDM, and Simulation.
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of engineering concepts.
- Ability to analyze and resolve engineering problems.
- Proficiency with CAD tools and modeling best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Robotics Engineering.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Mechanical or Robotics Engineering and experience with government contracts.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
