Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing mechanical drawings and specifications for oil, gas, and chemical systems.
- Review design calculations and specifications for power-related equipment.
- Check design deliverables against industry codes, contract requirements, and company standards.
- Assist in developing schedules and staffing requirements for project completion.
- Coordinate with drafters, designers, and engineers on project tasks.
- Coordinate deliveries, testing, and commissioning of OEM power island equipment.
Job Requirements
- Fluent in writing, reading, and speaking Japanese.
- Must be able to travel internationally.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering from an ABET accredited university.
- One to two years of engineering-related experience.
- Proficient in basic computer programs, ideally with experience in hydraulic simulations.
- Ability to work productively, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively.
- Must perform work safely and follow instructions and policies.
