Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical calculations, designs, and equipment selections for various projects.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including structural, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing engineers.
- Work with senior staff for design review, direction, and approval.
- Participate in the analysis, evaluation, design, and specification of mechanical/HVAC systems.
- Develop design and renovation drawings.
- Prepare field notes, feasibility studies, cost analyses, and specifications.
- Conduct peer reviews and condition assessments, including cost estimating.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- P.E. license required with knowledge of NYC building codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with REVIT is a plus.
- Ability to manage projects and supervise/mentor junior staff.
- Proficient in manual and software-assisted calculations.
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
