Responsibilities
- Develop and exercise design and analysis skills for prototyping and stellarator design.
- Create CAD and/or FEA models.
- Deliver functional custom components, tooling, fluid systems, and test equipment.
- Work on high-temperature superconducting magnet engineering, manufacturing, and testing.
- Assist with cryogenic and vacuum systems.
- Support instrumentation and diagnostic systems.
- Engage in various modeling, simulation, and data analysis tasks using software tools.
Job Requirements
- Enrolled in a STEM undergraduate or graduate program (mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, materials science, electrical engineering, etc.).
- Interest in clean and sustainable energy.
- Hands-on or computational experience through academic research or projects.
- Highly self-motivated and independent.
- Authorized to work in the US.
- Willingness to learn new things.
- Not necessary to meet all skillsets outlined.
