Responsibilities

  • Develop and exercise design and analysis skills for prototyping and stellarator design.
  • Create CAD and/or FEA models.
  • Deliver functional custom components, tooling, fluid systems, and test equipment.
  • Work on high-temperature superconducting magnet engineering, manufacturing, and testing.
  • Assist with cryogenic and vacuum systems.
  • Support instrumentation and diagnostic systems.
  • Engage in various modeling, simulation, and data analysis tasks using software tools.

Job Requirements

  • Enrolled in a STEM undergraduate or graduate program (mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, materials science, electrical engineering, etc.).
  • Interest in clean and sustainable energy.
  • Hands-on or computational experience through academic research or projects.
  • Highly self-motivated and independent.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
  • Willingness to learn new things.
  • Not necessary to meet all skillsets outlined.
