Responsibilities
- Develop and exercise design and analysis skills for stellarator design activities.
- Support prototyping through CAD and FEA model development.
- Deliver functional custom components, tooling, fluid systems, and test equipment.
- Engage in high-temperature superconducting magnet engineering, manufacturing, and testing.
- Work on cryogenic and vacuum systems, instrumentation, and diagnostic systems.
- Collaborate on electrical and control systems engineering.
- Participate in modeling, simulation, and data analysis using various software tools.
Job Requirements
- Enrolled in a STEM undergraduate or graduate program (mechanical engineering or related fields).
- Interest in clean and sustainable energy.
- Hands-on or computational experience from academic or industry projects.
- Self-motivated and independent problem solver.
- Authorized to work in the US.
