Responsibilities

  • Develop and exercise design and analysis skills for stellarator design activities.
  • Support prototyping through CAD and FEA model development.
  • Deliver functional custom components, tooling, fluid systems, and test equipment.
  • Engage in high-temperature superconducting magnet engineering, manufacturing, and testing.
  • Work on cryogenic and vacuum systems, instrumentation, and diagnostic systems.
  • Collaborate on electrical and control systems engineering.
  • Participate in modeling, simulation, and data analysis using various software tools.

Job Requirements

  • Enrolled in a STEM undergraduate or graduate program (mechanical engineering or related fields).
  • Interest in clean and sustainable energy.
  • Hands-on or computational experience from academic or industry projects.
  • Self-motivated and independent problem solver.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
  • Willingness to learn new skills.
  • Not required to meet all outlined skills; encouraged to apply if interested.
