Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and analyze laboratory experiments related to uncertainty quantification in fluid dynamics.
- Innovate and refine experimental methodologies for fluid dynamic measurement systems.
- Develop DAQ systems and analyze experimental data using MATLAB, Python, and LabVIEW.
- Prepare and publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary research teams on aerodynamics and air-sea interactions.
- Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment used in fluid mechanics experiments.
- Mentor graduate and undergraduate students in experimental techniques and data analysis.
Job Requirements
- Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience in experimental fluid mechanics and various measurement techniques.
- Proficiency in LabVIEW, MATLAB, and Python programming.
- Strong research background with peer-reviewed publications in relevant fields.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong communication skills.
- Experience developing LabVIEW scripts and APIs for specific applications.
- Track record in data acquisition systems and experimental data analysis.
