Responsibilities
- Prepares working drawings and detailed calculations for projects ensuring adherence to schedule and budget.
- Prepares technical reports for review and establishes design criteria for projects.
- Conducts site visits for rehabilitation projects.
- Selects equipment to meet project scope requirements.
- Evaluates vendor bids and subcontractor quotes for compliance with project specifications.
- Reviews and approves design drawings from other employees for assigned project segments.
- Coordinates with field personnel and contractors to resolve construction issues and inspects projects for compliance.
Job Requirements
- 4-year degree in mechanical engineering with 5-15 years of related experience.
- Professional Registration preferred.
- Experience with software like Revit and automated engineering design tools.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
- Capable of lifting up to 20 pounds and navigating construction sites.
- Prolonged periods of desk work and computer use.
- Knowledge of National Electrical Codes and construction procedures.
