Responsibilities
- Collaborates with Engineering on production tooling and design criteria.
- Determines manufacturing processes and authors process plans for production.
- Develops projections for new program production and recommends process improvements.
- Creates Manufacturing Bill of Material (MBOM) for order release and scheduling.
- Provides technical guidance for Root Cause/Corrective Action (RCCA) on production issues.
- Analyzes engineering drawings and issues engineering change requests (ECR).
- Recommends improvements to production facility arrangements and layouts.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- Preferred experience in machining discipline and machine shop standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well in team-based environments.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office, CAD, etc.).
