Responsibilities
- Collaborate with optical and electrical engineering teams to establish system requirements.
- Design systems and components that house optical elements, including layout and tolerance analysis.
- Conduct detailed thermal designs using CAD and analysis tools.
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Prepare presentations for various audiences.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Analyze and evaluate prototype systems for market readiness.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or Pro-E CAD design.
- Experience with thermal analysis tools (e.g., Flowtherm).
- Strong communication skills and team collaboration.
- Initiative and time management abilities.
- Experience with optical systems and metrology preferred.
