Mechanical Engineer

Tetra Tech is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (PE required) to conduct facility/infrastructure condition assessments, energy audits, and consulting for government and commercial clients. This role emphasizes innovation and sustainability in engineering and consulting services.

• Perform facility assessments of buildings and infrastructure systems.
• Conduct inventory and condition assessments of building systems.
• Provide subject matter expertise on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Support project management efforts and client engagement.
• Assist in preparing proposals and project scopes.
• Conduct field work for assessments and audits.
• Adhere to Tetra Tech policies and other assigned duties.

• Registered professional mechanical engineer.
• Certification as a Certified Energy Manager is preferred.
• Knowledge of US Army Corps of Engineers Sustainment Management Systems is desired.
• Experience in HVAC systems and energy audits.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and GIS is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and U.S. citizenship required.
