Responsibilities
- Assist an Electrical/Instrumentation engineer on various tasks and projects.
- Prepare construction drawings and specifications.
- Organize department standards.
- Ensure standard engineering practices and appropriate documentation.
- Interface with other engineering disciplines.
- Visit vendor facilities and jobsites with engineers.
- Develop understanding of P&IDs and Process Flow Diagrams.
Job Requirements
- Entry to fourth-year student at an ABET accredited institution in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and industry standards.
- Eager to learn, detail-oriented, and positive attitude.
- Familiarity with MathCAD, spreadsheets, and Electrical Power Analysis software.
- Ability to use software programs like AutoCAD, Solidworks, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
