Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional problem-solving teams for process and product improvements.
- Establish and maintain quality performance metrics.
- Review design engineering concerns and perform risk assessments.
- Develop and implement quality standards within the Tesla Quality System.
- Support the development of product specifications, tolerances, and FMEAs.
- Establish control plans and inspection standards for production processes.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the Tesla team.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in castings manufacturing, preferably in automotive.
- Training and success in quality problem-solving methods (e.g., FMEA, SPC).
- Knowledge of GD&T and experience with CMM reports.
- Familiarity with various measurement and inspection techniques.
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (5% to 10%).
