Responsibilities
- Design electromechanical parts and assemblies including plastics, sheet metal, heat sinks, and PCBA.
- Conduct mechanical integration analysis including thermal and design for assembly/testing.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, software, and firmware engineers.
- Oversee all stages of product development from prototyping to managing builds.
- Apply knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stacks, and design for manufacturing/automation/test/reliability.
- Present data and trade-offs to facilitate decision-making.
- Take projects from concept to production.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stacks, and design for manufacturing.
- Basic understanding of electrical design fundamentals and PCBAs.
- Strong knowledge of materials and fabrication methods.
- Analytical skills for successful design optimization.
- Passion for electro-mechanical product design.
