Responsibilities
- Mechanical design and packaging of components to meet product and system level requirements.
- Lead product integration reviews and mediate trade-off situations.
- Develop packaging master sections supporting Class A surface development.
- Support and execute virtual builds, development bucks, physical prototypes, and pre-series production.
- Manage top-level product CAD and BOM.
- Ensure CAD completeness and compatibility, and support the release process.
- Collaborate with design engineering, styling, and manufacturing teams.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience in energy products, high voltage battery, or robot integration and packaging.
- Extensive understanding of design principles for functional product systems.
- Knowledge of part manufacturing processes from circuit boards to large castings.
- Strong design, packaging, and 3D modeling skills; CATIA experience is a plus.
- Proven problem-solving and communication skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
