Responsibilities
- Support vehicle engineers and technicians in defining manufacturing strategies and design criteria.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and develop new automotive solutions.
- Utilize CAD and FEA for design development and prototype creation.
- Rapidly design and manufacture limited volume vehicle prototypes.
- Own vehicle subsystems from concept through to testing in integrated 3D design.
- Maintain effective documentation and reporting throughout the design process.
- Manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines effectively.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years in a product development environment.
- Hands-on experience in designing and building electro-mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of rapid prototyping methodologies for various materials.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software and understanding of engineering fundamentals.
- Strong communication skills and detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to organize workloads and manage time effectively.
