Responsibilities
- Design mechanical components and mechanisms for electrical connections and integration.
- Develop novel technologies and manufacturing techniques.
- Perform thermal and structural modeling of components and systems.
- Build prototypes and conduct functional validation.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers for component integration into systems.
- Work with reliability engineers to validate designs.
- Transition concepts to production with manufacturing engineers and suppliers.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in mechanical engineering in product design and manufacturing.
- Knowledge of high-volume manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, die casting).
- Proficiency in CAD modeling; CATIA v5 experience is a plus.
- Willingness to travel 10-15% of the time.
