Responsibilities
- Engineer and develop automotive lamp systems compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with design/styling teams to create feasible function layouts.
- Lead integration of lighting systems across multiple engineering and supply chain teams.
- Participate in the iterative design process to balance form, function, and cost.
- Direct engineering lamp development and CAD design.
- Maintain product development documentation including SOR and DFMEA.
- Execute automotive lamp programs, preferably with full LED systems.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience with automotive lamp programs, especially full LED lighting systems.
- Understanding of advanced lighting technologies (e.g., AFS systems, OLED).
- Technical aptitude and creativity in design.
- Basic knowledge of optical system development processes.
- Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing principles.
- Experience with plastic component design using CATIA V5/V6 preferred.
