Responsibilities
- Engineer and develop interior lighting and switch assembly systems.
- Create designs that integrate new technologies while meeting compliance standards.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams during the product development cycle.
- Engage with stakeholders to balance form, function, performance, and cost.
- Direct engineering development with teams and suppliers.
- Maintain product development documentation.
- Support cross-functional integration of interior lighting and switches.
Job Requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills with a physics-based approach.
- Familiarity with lighting, switch, and haptics technologies.
- Experience with complex assemblies and design for manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling, preferably in CATIA V5/V6.
- Understanding of prototyping and production techniques.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent experience.
