Responsibilities
- Design and create build plans for wind tunnel models.
- Identify and secure resources for building test properties.
- Execute build plans by coordinating the construction of test properties for wind tunnel and on-vehicle tests.
- Perform hand calculations and FEA to justify mechanical design decisions.
- Assist in developing and validating airflow management features or systems.
- Work with engineers, suppliers, and fabricators to create and test high-fidelity models.
- Continuously innovate and improve processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Expertise in CAD software, preferably CATIA.
- Strong understanding of rapid prototyping methods.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel 10% of working days for testing support.
- Familiarity with aerodynamic measurement systems preferred.
- Experience with wind tunnel and track testing preferred.
