Responsibilities
- Design mechanical systems from conceptual design through construction administration.
- Coordinate with multiple disciplines for project delivery within budget and schedule.
- Research and contribute innovative solutions to engineering problems.
- Provide basis of design, sequence of operation, and design contract drawings.
- Ensure correct installation through construction administration.
- Use applications like Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks for design.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant codes and standards in mechanical design.
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in HVAC or industrial mechanical systems design.
- Knowledge of chiller plant, boiler plant, piping, and ductwork design.
- Working towards Professional Engineer registration for Texas.
- Familiarity with International Energy Conservation and Mechanical Codes.
- Experience in construction administration.
- Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in engineering calculation tools and equipment selection software.
