Responsibilities

  • Drive the reliability of offline inspection and test equipment.
  • Develop new inspection methods and fixtures.
  • Work on solutions for inspection automation, data transfer, and cycle time reductions.
  • Support installation and commissioning of metrology and inspection equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address downstream issues using offline measurement data.
  • Train technicians on new inspection processes, including maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct advanced statistics and data analysis to present findings effectively.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a relevant field and a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, Automation Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Expertise in AutoCAD or Solidworks.
  • Experience in fixture design and robotics automation.
  • Familiarity with GD&T, gage capability concepts, and statistical analysis.
  • Proficiency in at least one material characterization technique.
  • Experience with optical sensors and related characterization tools.
  • Knowledge of at least one statistical software package (e.g., JMP, Minitab).
