Responsibilities
- Ideate concepts for manufacturing equipment and systems.
- Develop specifications and manage the RFQ process.
- Lead vendor management and coordinate project scope with production, design, and quality teams.
- Validate and optimize manufacturing processes from prototypes to full production.
- Transition products from low-volume prototypes to large-scale production.
- Act as lead manufacturing engineer or project manager for new automated equipment.
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in developing and implementing manufacturing processes in high-volume production.
- Familiarity with deploying and validating new processes in automated environments.
- Proficiency in GD&T and experimental design.
- Experience with launching large, automated manufacturing lines.
- Understanding of industrial engineering concepts like line balancing and OEE.
- Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Physics, Materials, or equivalent experience.
