Responsibilities
- Ideate concepts for equipment and manufacturing systems
- Develop specifications and manage the RFQ process
- Lead and manage vendors and coordinate project scope with production, design, and quality
- Validate and optimize processes from prototype builds to full volume production
- Transition products from low-volume prototypes to large-scale production
- Function as lead manufacturing engineer or project manager on new automated manufacturing equipment
- Travel domestically and internationally as required
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of engineering or relevant experience
- Experience in developing and implementing manufacturing processes in high-volume production
- Experience in deploying and validating new processes in automated production environments
- Proficiency in geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) and experimental design
- Familiarity with industrial engineering concepts such as line balancing and OEE
- Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Physics, Materials, or equivalent experience
- Capability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
