Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers across various disciplines to develop Li-ion cell components and systems.
- Prepare 3D CAD models and detailed drawings for mechanical designs.
- Support mechanical builds, proof of principle assemblies, and production machinery.
- Assist in the design and testing of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Troubleshoot existing mechanical designs and manufacturing issues.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external teams regarding supplier component development.
- Participate in research and experiments to enhance knowledge of cell design principles.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficient in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with machining, fabrication, and additive manufacturing.
- Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Basic knowledge of Lithium-ion battery design.
- Strong technical communication skills.
