Responsibilities
- Design and prototype mechanical components and systems for Tesla vehicles and AI programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Contribute to the design and validation of thermal and mechanical systems within the Dojo training computer.
- Work on mechanical design and integration of electronics modules.
- Use 3D CAD (Catia) to design and package wiring in vehicles.
- Conduct tolerance analysis, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and other simulations.
- Run validation tests and perform data analysis.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD design for parts and assemblies.
- Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to create 2D drawings for production and inspection.
- Knowledge of validation testing and data analysis.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with engineering teams.
