Responsibilities
- Design and prototype mechanical components for Tesla vehicles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Develop designs in CAD for parts and assemblies.
- Conduct tolerance analysis and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Create 2D drawings for high-volume production.
- Run validation tests and perform data analysis.
- Provide factory engineering support to resolve issues.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software for design work.
- Understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
- Ability to conduct simulations and analyses before production.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping and testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills for engineering support.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week on-site.
