Responsibilities
- Support the operation of Additive Manufacturing (AM) machines and post-processing.
- Collaborate with tool design engineers to optimize parts for additive manufacturing.
- Characterize fabricated parts to understand defects and mechanical properties.
- Develop and validate complex processes for finishing/coating products.
- Work with cross-functional teams on process development from concept to production.
- Conduct materials testing and characterization for various materials.
- Design and enhance high-pressure die casting dies and collaborate with engineering teams.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Materials Science or a related field.
- Proficient in 3D CAD tools (CATIA, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Strong understanding of mechanical, thermal, electrical, and physical properties of materials.
- Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE) and materials testing.
- Familiarity with programming in Python and Matlab is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site for 40 hours per week.
- Willingness to promote health and safety in the workplace.
