Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Solar Design team to propose solutions for energy products.
- Develop manufacturing methods and select necessary equipment for commercialization.
- Oversee installation and ramp-up of manufacturing equipment.
- Define and oversee Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) for manufacturing equipment.
- Optimize product flow and line efficiency through design improvements.
- Characterize baseline performance and capability of systems to drive performance improvement.
- Generate and maintain machine documentation and spare part BOMs.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software.
- Strong hands-on experience in high-volume and pilot manufacturing.
- Understanding of automation systems, mechanical engineering, and robotics.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with vendors and customers.
- Working knowledge of data analysis, statistics, and SPC.
- Experience programming PLCs and articulated robots is a plus.
