Responsibilities
- Perform research to create comfortable and usable spaces for vehicle drivers and passengers.
- Develop, validate, and maintain vehicle occupant packages and ergonomic criteria.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and program management teams to implement ergonomic solutions.
- Conduct digital and physical assessments against styling and engineering proposals.
- Develop and run focus studies to establish ergonomic compliance.
- Work closely with managers and mentors on critical projects.
- Contribute to the overall success of the team through innovative engineering solutions.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Ergonomic Engineering, or related field.
- Preferred experience in occupant packaging, human factors, ergonomics, or product usability.
- Knowledge of CAD software, particularly CATIA V6 and V5.
- Understanding of rapid fabrication methods such as 3D printing.
- Familiarity with CAVA and RAMSIS is preferred.
- Experience in an automotive design studio is a plus.
- Knowledge of automotive engineering guidelines and manufacturing techniques is advantageous.
