Responsibilities
- Support process improvement for Tesla Energy Batteries.
- Work on development and execution of DOEs, CAD modeling, and troubleshooting.
- Communicate between Engineering and Production to improve processes.
- Assist in the design, installation, and ramp of battery cell manufacturing equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test and validate equipment.
- Gain hands-on experience with pilot tools and battery manufacturing processes.
- Apply industrial engineering principles to enhance manufacturing processes.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related field).
- Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, Catia, etc.).
- Knowledge of PLC programming and MATLAB/Simulink.
- Understanding of lithium-ion battery technology and electrochemistry.
- Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems and energy storage.
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
