Responsibilities
- Start-to-finish hardware ownership including specification, architecture, design, and validation of circuit boards.
- Design electrical architecture and electronic circuits, including processor selection and integration.
- Collaborate with PCB layout, firmware, mechanical, program management, and validation teams.
- Document design requirements, calculations, and validation results thoroughly.
- Rapidly iterate designs based on evolving requirements and vehicle features.
- Participate in hands-on work with analog and digital circuit design.
- Utilize modeling and analysis tools like MATLAB, Python, or C/C++.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Experience with analog and digital circuit design and PCB assembly.
- Familiarity with PCB component selection.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of serial communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, etc.).
- Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, or equivalent tools.
- Ability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 weeks.
