This role is for an Electrical Engineering Intern at Tesla, focusing on supporting the design and development of test systems and facilities infrastructure for Tesla Energy products.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing electrical schematics and layouts for test setups and lab infrastructure using AutoCAD or Altium.
- Support the specification and selection of electrical components for test equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical and mechanical systems.
- Assist project engineering in defining electrical requirements and attend site walks.
- Participate in troubleshooting and validating test setups.
- Capture electrical designs for communication to end users.
- Engage in hands-on experience with electromechanical systems projects.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Coursework or project experience in electrical design or automation systems.
- Basic understanding of electrical schematics and power distribution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with PCB design tools or CAD software.
- Exposure to industrial automation tools through projects or coursework.
- Hands-on experience in electromechanical systems projects.
